Katie Bishop documents queer fantasy. She references popular culture, examining instances of ‘phantom queerness’; coming references that are adopted by queer youth and exist in our collective psyche.

This feedbacks into her work with explicit intentions of reimagining heteronormative cultural happenings, claiming our existence within them. She documents genuine relationships, cast in an editorial process, she carves out space for queer females to cosplay as other identities.
